About this add-on

Customize complete and lightweight themes (tab colors, toolbar texts, window backgrounds, and more).

Enable, change, or close lightweight themes-- for use with most Pale Moon complete themes-- by clicking the Theme-Styler-Plus toolbar drop-down menu-button. Browser restart is not required.

To create or modify a custom solid-color light theme, click the Theme-Styler-Plus "Options" button in Pale Moon's Add-ons Manager. Then enter the background color, text color, and theme name in the "Solid Color Theme" window. Then click the "Install" button. Background and text colors may be entered as text (e.g. "lime"), as rgb (e.g. "rgb(0,255,0)") or rgba (e.g. "rgba(0,255,0,1)"), as hex (e.g. "#00FF00"), or as hsl (e.g. "hsl(120,100%,50%)") or hsla (e.g. "hsla(120,100%,50%,1)"). Color codes and color names are not case sensitive. Color names are entered as one word (i.e. no spaces). See Color units for an explanation of color names and codes.

To avoid browser restarts, do not enable/disable/close light themes in the "Add-ons Manager" tab. Instead, use the Theme-Styler-Plus toolbar drop-down menu-button.

When adding a new persona/lightweight theme, the user may be prompted to restart the browser. To avoid browser restarts, undo all theme changes in the "Appearance" section of the "Add-ons Manager" tab. Then, enable the new persona/lightweight theme using Theme Styler Plus or ThemeTool.

The Theme Styler Plus "Active Windows" and "Inactive Windows" features are available only when using personas/lightweight themes.

The "Reset Styles (Pages)" option item, within the "Page Style" section of the Theme Styler Plus sidebar, can be used to rewrite the Theme-Styler-Plus's css styling file (thereby correcting style issues). Click on the "Reset Styles (Pages)" checkbox. Observe any changes. Then, click on the checkbox again to complete the reset. Alternatively, the Theme-Styler-Plus's css styling file can be rewritten by restarting the browser.
